The evidence comes with the verdict.

Every scored review must include a paid rental, a redacted receipt, dated measurements, downloadable raw results, and the tester’s name. Hosts we haven’t rented receive a Spec-only label and no score.

A real-world testing protocol

  1. Rent anonymously in a US region using our own payment method.
  2. Measure checkout-to-join time and install a standard world with common mods.
  3. Run a 30-minute load test and 100 ping samples per region at peak and off-peak times.
  4. Back up, wipe, and restore the world; record data loss or failures.
  5. Time two support tickets, cancel, and test the refund policy.
  6. Publish the evidence and retest top picks monthly.
